Ragleela unifies the rich heritage of Indian Music and melody with the concept of modal occidental music and harmony. Ragleela performs only original pieces, where Jean-Marc Hébert creates a densely woven modal pattern, Bertil Schulrabe brings in drive and groove and Uwe Neumann tells lyrical melodic stories until they unify in a thrilling climax. Ragleela means the Leela (cosmic dance) of the Ragas.... or the "gathering of distinct personalities singing and dancing together (to create the Leela) to keep the planet rolling."
